Overview
Kon Tum is the capital of Kon Tum Province — the northernmost Central Highlands city with minimal tourism. Home to a significant Bahnar and Jarai ethnic minority population maintaining longhouse villages.
What to Do
- Kon Tum Wooden Church — a beautiful 1918 French missionary church built in traditional Bahnar style
- Bahnar villages — Kon Ko Tu and Kon Ro Bang with traditional rong communal houses
- Dak Bla River — kayak or boat through forested stretches

Fly to Pleiku (50 km south) then bus, or bus from Ho Chi Minh City.
